A Real Work of Art! It was a Christmas present for my wife and she loves it. The tea kettle was pricey, but worth it. It works as advertised and has a strong whistle. It is really pretty which is good because it sits on the stove all the time. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality tea kettle.

Not worth it I purchased this kettle to match my Le creuset cookware, because I love the durability of the brand and have had good luck with the rest of my pieces. Unfortunately 18 months in and the inside paint or enamel material comes off every time I boil water in the kettle. Obviously no one wants paint chips in their tea. I will have to replace this item, and this time I will go for stainless steel.
