Whistle and steam are a problem The tea pot is cute looking. Much better than a regular cook pan. However, it does have some flaws. The whistle is really useless unless you have the pot filled with water. The whistle is in the black cap on the lid. The steam that comes out of the cap is around the handle area which can get hot. When the water level is low, steam comes out of the spout in a lot of directions and whistle doesn’t work at all. Only used this once to try it out. Will make do with it because I haven’t found…
Inexpensive option for boiling water. This tea kettle is a little bigger than my old electrical one and can prepare more boiled water in one bottle. It can create alerting sounds when the water boils inside. Since it helps us save time, we like it than our old electrical one.
