Sam says:

Perfect for gas stoves. Broad base let’s you heat water on the big burners without having flames lick up the side of the teakettle. And that means thea handle never gets too hot to handle and the spout does not overheat so there’s no sputtering spray if boiling water when you pour.Only one minor drawback, the whistle is not very loud. I’m used to a whistle I can hear from the basement or from upstairs but this one has a much softer sound.

Gin says:

Poor Quality! The handle went wobbly on day 1. Holds a very small amount of water (8 cups – not 2.5 liters!) and spills easily. Handle gets very hot and plastic spout cover is melting! Returning.

Lew Troop says:

A Kitchen Standard There’s something about a teakettle that just adds to the ambience of a kitchen. This one isn’t fancy, doesn’t sing, just whistles when the water is boiling, hold enough for several cups but not so much that it’s cumbersome to lift.
