A tea kettle that is beautiful and lightweight with a whistle! This tea kettle is just beautiful. It is a beautiful red color that is highly polished and has a mirror like finish. It is made of stainless steel and holds 1.8 quarts of water. It is made of thin metal so it heats quickly and it has a whistle that lets you know that the water is boiling.The handles and knobs are made of Bakelite so you will not get burned when you lift it. The web site says that it is dish washer safe but the box clearly states to wash it by hand. It is too pretty to put into a dish washer anyway. I rated it as a five star item because of the way it looks and the price is good.
Love it! When my old teapot broke, I couldn’t find another like it, but I finally settled on this one, boy was I surprised when it came in. It’s a pretty shiny metallic apple red. It heats very quickly, It can go in the dishwasher, and the handle locks in one direction which keeps you from getting burnt while pouring. If this one gives out, for this price, I would totally buy another, but I don’t see this happening anytime soon.
It works and looks great It looks sharp and heats water. There’s not much to say about a tea pot, really. They are simple and they don’t do a lot but this does what it’s asked each morning when I, or my wife, heat water for our morning bowl of gruel…and it looks nice while doing it. What more could you ask? I recommend this tea pot as it will prove to be a nice accessory in your kitchen and may even match the color of your bloodshot eyes, depending on the previous nights activities. HA!
