Shinjuku Gyoen is our Gooseneck Kettle.
Material
Made from top quality stainless steel (and plastic for the handle and lid knob). The interior does not have any plastic at all. Made to withstand high heats, it can be used with IH ranges and electric stove-tops.
Important note: Not for use with gas ranges.
Handle
The ergonomic handle is specially designed for a comfortable fit, so you have the ultimate control. Most kettle have either uncomfortable handles or are designed too small. Full wrap around handle also keeps you hand protected from the hot surface of the kettle.
Neck
The curved gooseneck was engineered for a precise controlled pour. Use for manually brewing pour-over coffee, tea or any hot beverage.
Capacity
The kettle holds up to 1 Liter at a time.
The kettle is dishwasher safe.

PLASTIC HANDLE MELTS ON FIRE…poor quality The black handle on the kettle MELTED upon first cleaning on the stove. You can see that the black plastic is way too close to the bottom of the kettle.The material of the kettle handle plastic was absolutely unsatisfactory. The handle is made with poor quality and came off right after 1st use.
Overall a good little kettle Overall, we’re happy with this simple little gooseneck kettle. Our previous kettle was a wide-mouthed one with non-stick coating on the inside, and we’ve been wanting a new one for a while. When Osaka offered to let us try this one for a discount and give it an honest review, we were happy to do so.
This is a great kettle for my electric stove This is a great kettle for my electric stove. I love the stainless steel design because it gives my kitchen a nice and clean modern look that I have come to love. I just started doing pour over coffee and this kettle helps me pour the water out slowly for a nice handmade fresh coffee that is not made through a machine. I love how I am able to clean every crack and crevice on the inside of this kettle with the wide mouthed design that it has. That has allowed me to keep my kettle a lot more…
