bit misleading with temp control, but still good. Just received this today and already blows my T-Fal temp control water heater out of the water.
How to fix that LOUD BEEP ! I give 3 stars because of the crazy LOUD beep (that I fixed in about 20 minutes!) and it takes twice the time to reach the temperature than my previous one. To fix the beeper : first unclip the cover of the handle starting at the lower part with a small flat screwdriver (pic1). Then unclip the plate where the temp control is (two clips, one on each side, pic2). Unscrew the electronic plate (pic3) UNDER which you will find the beeper (pic4). Put a little bit of hot glue (pic5) on the beeper hole…
Very disappointed and it is potentially very dangerous We used this kettle for three days in our office and the clear plastic window that measures the contents fell out spilling water all over a co-worker. Luckily the water was cold, but if it had been boiled, she would have been severely burned. There was no crack or obvious problem with the kettle, it just fell apart.
