Beautiful teapot, and it turns out to be lead-free I bought this large yellow teapot for my wife for Christmas. She loves the shape, the color and the large size. But on the downside, the teapot arrived with no manufacturer’s markings of any kind. It doesn’t even say “Made in “. Of greatest concern, it says nothing about the lead content of the glaze. I have written to Fox Run inquiring about this, but have gotten no reply yet. I’ll update this review if I hear back from them. So I’m knocking off two stars for poor product information and…
I like it, but not what I was expecting. I like it, but not what I was expecting. I was replacing a much loved but broken tea pot that held 40 ounces. I was looking for something roughly the same size. I figured that 37 oz wouldn’t be noticeable. When I opened the package (which was done very well), I thought that the pot looked a bit small. So I filled it up with water to the very brim (more than you’d ever fill with boiling water) and it measured about 34 oz. (This is realistically a 5 cup teapot). The opening is also very small,…
Pleased So Far 🙂 I just received my pot today and have already used it. Quite pleased! I wanted something to make it so I didn’t have to keep brewing more cups and could keep things warm a little longer, and so I could make more use of the not-so-cheap tea I used up (Teavana – anjou pearadise + tock sugar+ youthberry/wild orange blend.
