Divine But DANGEROUS The ONLY reason I have not returned this kettle after its first use is because it’s so beautiful. It cost WAY too much money to be so flawed. Firstly, the description on the page is incorrect: The handle does not fold down. Second, more steam blows out of the top than blows out of the actual spout. Most importantly, the metal on the handle is extremely dangerous. The wood must only be there for decoration because functionally, it makes no sense to have the metal peeping out between the pieces…

as it’s a beautiful tea kettle I bought this in June of 2017 and in October, I noticed it was rusting around the lid. It is now December and the rust has spread around the lid quite a bit. Very disappointing, as it’s a beautiful tea kettle; but not sure I’d pay the price again knowing it rusts in under six months. Not good quality.UPDATE January 2018: The rust is becoming extensive.
