Smaller than expected, perfect for small apartment I like this little kettle, it absolutely fits my personal needs having a small apartment. I was very surprised at how small it was when it arrived. It is smaller than a 12 cup coffee carafe. The upside to the size, is the fact that it heats quickly and is easy to store.
Beauty and function … This little kettle has definitely met and exceeded my expectations. It is not large but that makes it perfect for my uses. Even full, which is about 4 cups of liquid, it is still a manageable weight. Works so well for pour overs, which thanks to it, I am doing more of now. It is also great for my French Press. Great Pot, Thermometer Not So Much The pot works well. I was expecting the thermometer to actually screw into the center largest hole because there are threads on the thermometer’s neck. However that was not the case; the hole is not quite large enough (less than 1 mm does make a difference). So I listen and when I hear the water begin to boil I insert and hold the thermometer in the pot; it doesn’t take long to get close to the temperature.
