The Stash Tea Company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1972, the company derives its name from an entertaining aspect of tea folklore. In earlier centuries, tea was a valuable commodity traditionally transported by clipper ship. The ship’s captain often was presented with some of the finest teas for his personal use. This supply was his “stash,” stowed carefully as his “private reserve.” Today, the term still is used to denote anything put away carefully because of its preciousness. Stash begins with simply excellent tea leaves from the world’s premier tea gardens and all natural botanical ingredients gathered from around the world. Great tea, but currently overpriced by Amazon seller This is one of my favorite STASH teas to make iced tea with. Great flavor and deep, rich, red color from the hibiscus. However, Amazon please take note: I used to pay $15.83 for this box and now it is $20.47 per box. You shouldn’t really offer a price that is MORE than I can get if for at my local health food store. So, in the meantime, it is my local store who will be getting my money for this product.

Best Tea EVER I’ve loved the Raspberry Hibiscus tea for years, but stores in my area stopped selling it a long time ago. I thought I was stuck with plain old chamomile or some other brand’s inferior raspberry and/or hibiscus tea – and ALL other brands are inferior, even the proprietary blends I’ve tried from independent tea/herb establishments – but I thankfully discovered that once again, Amazon had the answer to my problem. I purchased the box of 100 tea bags at first, but realized after three purchases…

Tasty, but many bags weren’t stapled shut I ordered this to see if it would help lower my blood pressure, but I couldn’t really see any benefit in that regard. The tea tastes fine, but my main gripe is that probably one-third of the bags were unstapled, so I either had to staple them myself (I found tape didn’t work very well) or have shredded tea leaves floating in my cup.
