Lid pops into the small hole so when in use the lid does not fall off when pouring with one hand. Liquids stay nice and hot in the cups or tea pot. Each set comes with a spoon, plate, and cup. I love how simple the painting is makes it match with decor easier the gold rims are a nice touch.
