A nice pot with some design issues. It’s a fine kettle, with some design defects. I bought it to replace a broken glass kettle, which it’s sort of an improvement on the old one. What’s nice is that it goes on the stove. Good things? It’s stylist, very sturdy, and the tea screen is fine enough mesh that tea leave detris doesn’t get in your tea. Bad things – All design defects from what I see. The handle is not heat proof, and gets very hot. It does cool fast though. There is no way to position the cap that the steam holes won’t…

Great Design, Poor Functionality While the teapot looks great, it lacks functionality. Since it is entirely stainless steel, it gets extremely hot while on the burner – you cannot grab the handle without a pot holder, let alone open the lid to add your loose leaf tea. It also leaks once the water reaches a rapid boil if you fill it too high and it has to be poured at a certain angle or it just splashes awkwardly.

Look for a better tea kettle!! This tea kettle sucks! You can’t leave it on the stove without watching as it almost always spills over. It leaks from the spout when you’re trying to pour the tea out so inevitably I have tea on the counter as I’m pouring it in my cup. The design while aesthetically pleasing isn’t very practical for placing or taking out the infuser in the kettle, especially challenging when everything is hot and your trying to fork out the infuser while the handle is in the way.. looks great nothing else…
