Move over tetsubin, Toyo just beat you I tried tetsubins, french cafe style tea pots, tea kettles, even boiled the water in a sauce pan with the tea right in it then strained manually, I tried everything… this is the pot I wanted the entire time. It doesn’t piss at a boil, the handle stays cool, has not stained from tea (4-8x cups made each day), it’s big enough for two 10+ oz. mugs of tea still with half a pot to spare yet the tea infuser goes all the way to the bottom for tiny traditional tea cups for a lonely tea drinker…
Best Glass Teapot around Excellent product, by far one of my best purchases. Clear glass lets you see the boil. You can use with or without the removable stainless steel basket. A little small but works great for two or three large cups of tea. The glass goes right on my gas stove and you can boil away. The glass handle stays remarkably warm and not too hot to pick up. Easy clean-up with or without basket. Fast shipping, very good packing
The I am delighted that I can place the pot on a warm … The teapot is lovely. The design is contemporary. With its large flat bottom the pot sits well and it is well balanced for pouring. Because its spout is small, there is less chance of breakage. The I am delighted that I can place the pot on a warm stove top and keep my tea warm. My only disappointment is that the top metal ring around the opening cannot be removed so that I clean the inside well.
