Great teakettle! The kettle looks beautiful! And it whistles loudly! And the lid fits snugly and the handle is comfortable and doesn’t get too hot. The lever to open the spout stays open until you push it closed — I like that, too!
The black color may scratch easy I think the tea kettle will be OK but was disappointed that there was a small scratch on the outside of the black kettle. I think this was a returned pot as the box was crushed a little on one corner, and the bag that the kettle was in was not sealed. The tea box was in a bigger shipping box and maybe got bounced about during shipping.
