What Size Spice Tins Do I Need?

Spices are sold by weight. Spice Tins are sold by volume. Grocery store bottles (about 4″ high) contain about 1.8 oz. by weight. But put the contents in a measuring cup and you will see that the volume of the grocery store bottle is between 1/2 and 3/4 cup (4 oz or 6 oz. in volume)
