Good closure and seal. Perfect size to store sampler amounts of teas. These are small containers but I think they are a perfect size to store sampler amounts of tea. The closure system is perfect. There is a plastic gasket on the inside of the lid to make it air-tight. The specification is 4 Oz by volume but I think depending on the tea, it will only be able to fit about 0.75 Oz of tea measured by weight. In other words, holding a 2 Oz bag of weighed oolong next to the canister makes it apparent that there is no way all that tea will fit into one canister…
