Probably one the best quality pans I own I do a lot of baking and have the hardest time finding good baking pans. Most of the pans I have gotten pop when they heat up causing my breads to come out deformed and unevenly baked. These jelly roll pans seem to be the solution to my problem. It is a very solidly constructed pan with a nice thick bottom. They bake evenly and don’t pop. I have a large family so most of the time I have to use two pans to fit everything I need but this pan is the perfect size which eliminates the problem of me…
Would give 2.5 stars if I could. You can’t put in dishwasher. A Jelly Roll pan is just a rimmed baking sheet. This one is a half sheet pan size and has 1-inch-high sides. It is made of aluminum. This pan has great heat distribution and bakes very evenly. I made cookies and learned that because it’s a bit thicker than a traditional cookie sheet so the cooking time was slightly increased. You’ll need to pay attention the first few times you use to see if your items need a little longer to bake. After baking the food releases easily for the pan…
Look elsewhere. Wish I could have held them before buying. You can hear the sheet metal in between the outer sheets. It’s not attached anywhere so it rattles between the top and bottom layer. I have used lots of baking sheets and I have never had that before. The thickness seems ok but the weight is too light to be of great quality. I would not recommend these or purchase them again.
