Mixed feelings, UPDATE crack on bottom of bowl after a few months use I have mixed feelings on these items. I love the images of the hedgehogs/foxes (bought two bowls) but the weight/feel of them is not what I expected at all. I feel like I need to be extra careful with them. They are pretty colors and the images are clear. I guess I expected more heft from them based on the reputation of the company. They do make me smile when I look at them. Just what I wanted I am very pleased with this little mixing bowl. I have had a set of the classic Mason Cash “cane” mixing bowls for over 20 years, but recently decided that having another small one would be very handy. It is not the classic shape of the cane bowls, but I actually like this shape better. Cracked on first use! So disappointed! It looked great, but developed a large vertical crack all the way from top to bottom upon first use. It was on a metal rack in the pan, not touching the sides, etc., and the parchment and foil tied over the top was creased to allow for venting, so I can’t think that it was caused by anything but faulty workmanship. Since I can’t prove all that, however, I probably can’t return it. I really wish I hadn’t wasted Christmas money on this. 🙁
