Small and air tight! Perect for matcha!I washed the bamboo lid (which is glued down with some type of paper/mesh) with soap and water and it dried just fine – the mesh is still attached. The lid has a secure tight fit. Not sure what he glue is made of but I do not intend it to be in direct contact with my tea, so am not too concerned. There is no ordor.Pretty glaze. Not heavy.It is a fantastic buy for the price!
