Pretty container, but a bit thin Wife and I absolutely love the design and look of the container ~ but as soon as you pick it up, you can feel that it is very thin and pliable. If you were to grip it with anything more than a soft touch, you would likely bend the thin metal the can is made from and the “air-tight seal” rubber cap for the inside constantly falls into the container itself.If the containers had a bit more sturdiness to them, these would be great!
pretty & functional The colors are warmer and more complex than the picuture. It looks rich, not garish. Well made: seams smooth and tight; the plastic inner lid fits easily; outer lid slides smoothly on and off; pattern designed so that the outer lid doesn’t have to be realigned to match. The 6″ size is ideal. I haven’t had it long, but it holds one of my favorite teas and gets used every day. I’d like to see these in more patterns.
Wonderful as gifts, great canisters I love these as canisters for green tea. They’re not large, just a nice size for any kitchen, the color is lovely as shown, and very nicely made with a tight fitting plastic interior cap.
