Finally! I spent a LONG time trying to get the tin open. My son and his family gave me a half pound of tea with the Perfectea Maker for Christmas so I had no contact with anyone at the store. My online research netted me this: If the tea contains any kind of citrus, it will make the seal swell. Mine is Youthberry & Wild Orange Blossom. Well Manufactured, Sturdy, But a Bit Overpriced… Now I know that you have to have some cash laying around to do business with this company, but the expense is a little out of hand for this product. I must note however, that the tins are “well manufactured” and have an “exceptional seal”, and this is what is required to maintain your teas.
