These tins can also store our Rock Sugar and any other food item that needs to be sealed in an air-tight container. This tin holds approximately 6oz of tea (depending on the size/weight of the tea). Container is 6 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter. Made in Japan of tin-plated steel.

Good, as long as you use it for one kind of tea.. I have this tin. It works great! It keeps the tea fresh, seals firmly(but not as firmly as a locking lid), seems to be airtight, good.

Great little tin! Not a whole lot can be said about these little canisters because they’re so simple.

Tough to open This tin feels much more securely sealed than similar storage tins I’ve bought from other companies, but sometimes it can be hard to open if you have any issue with hand strength. Of course, that means it’s good and sealed. I do wish it was available in a smaller size (I was told this was the smaller size, though my rock sugar came in a smaller tin, so…) Not in love with the Teavana logo all over it but they sell canisters for twice as much without it, so you get what you pay for.
