Should be labeled “Pie Taker” After receiving the cake tin I looked at it and realized it was not actually tall enough to store a two-layer cake. More appropriate to label it “Cupcakes” or better yet “Pie”. I will use it for other things, as I love tin ware.
Attractive and practical I thought the bit on top would work as a carrying handle, but it’s too small for that and more importantly will pull the lid off if there’s weight in the carrier. But it’s a very nice tin, well-made, with a good seal on the lid.
Great for storing cookies. I prefer to keep homemade cookies and cupcakes in a tin rather than plastic. This is perfect. It looks nice on my kitchen counter and has a seal around the edge to keep things fresh. It is well made and sturdy.
