I wanted to love these They look great, quality construction but beware…the top edge without the lid is SHARP. I had brown sugar in one and it had turned a little hard. I was trying to scoop it out with a spoon and, because I was trying really hard to get it out, I slipped and that edge nearly sliced my finger off. It was absolutely like a razor.
Cute little canisters that fit & look great on my bakers rack! By my standards, these are not very big, but I didn’t buy them for bulk. One of these will hold about 32oz of dry something-or-other, works for me. I do keep flour & sugar in larger containers simply because I go through a lot more of those ingredients. What I really like these for are storing rice, nuts, brown/pwd sugar, etc… & having it all very organized as well as looking cute on my bakers rack – I’m all about presentation! Ahh, what I wouldn’t do with an industial kitchen…sigh!
Very solid and light weight for dry Foods or Tools Attractive, lightweight containers to store almost any kind of food or ingredients. Clear tops make it easy to see what it is and/or put the label underneath. My husband is using three of them to organize his small tools in the garage. Will buy again. Great set and well priced.
