125g Xnx001 Strong Aroma Bama Chinese Anxi Tie Guan Yin Iron Goddess Oolong Tea (1)
Tieguanyin Tea translated into English as Iron Goddess Tea. Originating in Anxi County in Fujian Province. The tea’s leaves are dark green and rolled into tight balls. The “Tie” in Tieguanyin is translated into English as “Iron” This is because as you drop the leaves into your teapot they ring like iron as they hit
Top shelf Ti Quan Yin I usually purchase my Ti Quan Yin from Harney and Sons. However, they were out of stock so I decided to give this a try.
Nice Not quite what I was hoping for but a nice tea no less. Shipped directly from China so took a little longer to arrive but not much. This tea is quite “green”, brews nicely and I can get 2-3 brews from ea bag. Wrapped well, sealed in a foil pouch and inside it’s sealed in a small plastic baggie. I usually split ea portion into 2 and brew ea of those 2 portions a couple of times.
Five Stars excellent tea, nice strong aroma.
