It was excellent, with a strong but not overly tannic flavor Golden tips was kind enough to send me a free Assam Signature Malt TGFOP1 sample with my earlier order of Nilgiri tea (which is also good). It was excellent, with a strong but not overly tannic flavor. It is a malt, so has the extra malt flavor that you should like or be willing to try if you get this tea.

Beautiful, Delicious Tea from Assam India I have loved tea since I was a child and have been enjoying it my entire life, but never have rarely experienced a tea as unique, flavorful and aromatic as the Assam Tea Signature Malt Loose Leaf Black Tea. It’s medium caffeine content gently awakens my body while invigorating my senses with the natural flavors of malt and vanilla combined with the delicious black tea leaves. The tea has a toasted woodsy aroma, reminiscent of summer days and has a lightly sweet finish.
