Clean tasting green tea I am sipping on my first cup of Oothu green tea from Davidson’s right now. My first impressions are that Oothu green is a very clean tasting green tea. I like to brew my tea very strong, and I don’t detect any harsh or overwhelming grassy flavors. Visually, the tea looks of high quality, with very few stems. Pleasantly surprised…. I have been burned by one of the Davidson’s teas in the past (Green chai with orange peel – blech!) but this is a very drinkable, albeit very strong, green tea. It has a pronounced “vegetal” flavor without yielding the bitter green taste you can occasionally get from a gunpowder green. I drink this as an everyday green and I’m very pleased with it – just be conservative with both the amount of tea and brew time to avoid an over-the-top taste.
good taste at a great price!I I don’t think you can go wrong with this product. It is NOT old and musty as another reviewer said, and I didn’t find ANY stems or anything other than tea leaves. I drink 3 cups every day – great price!
