Domestic use 100% tea leaves. Nylon bag adopted the triangle. Flavor has a rich blend of tea “best”, Hojicha some sweet and clean. One of my favorites This stuff puts the typical teas in American supermarkets to shame! I wish they sold this stuff in most stores, because it’s amazing! I tried it on a whim since I had something similar at a restaurant and I really enjoyed it. Turns out its one my favorites. Not expensive and comes in a large quantity. If your new to the brand, these Japanese teas have a much stronger flavor. This one is kind of smokey (roasted) but very flavorful.
Awesome pricepoint for a wonderful tea! I have been drinking all of the Itoen teas for quite some time. As a tea afficianado, I can’t say enough great things. I love a flavorful Japanese green tea. This has a more roasted flavor and is a nice change from the more “grassy” notes of their other teas.
great hojicha teabags it says premium, and it wasn’t joking. it has that nicer sorta satin tea bag, and the tea is great. wife enjoys it significantly more than the yamamotoyama standard tea bags we get around here, and it’s at least dead heat even with the premium loose leaf stuff we order.i believe around here, the yamamotoyama stuff was 16 bags for $5, and this stuff was maybe 50 for $18. Definitely worth the premium.
