STALE TEA, ANYONE? If you are in the least bit sensitive to the taste of stale tea, don’t bother. Make your own fresh tasting tea. I cannot take even the slightest taste of stale and the unflavored AND the lemon flavored tasted like OLD tea. You know the taste. And the green tea was nothing to write home about either! Great Tea but this shipment was month passed Best Use By. I have purchased Pure Leaf tea from Amazon on several occasions and always have received them with at least a month or two prior to Best Use Date. However this last order received was one month past the Best Use date. Which is why I gave this shipment only 4 stars. If I had purchased these locally I would have checked the date.Will this shipment prevent my ordering again—no. Did the past use date impact flavor—I really did not notice difference. The black tea with lemon and the green tea are the best in my opinion Pure leaf Ice T is certainly an acquired taste. The black tea especially unsweetened is tasty but hard to get used to. The black tea with lemon and the green tea are the best in my opinion. I like the product to ticularly because I am diabetic and it is a good change from water. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys tea especially unsweetened.
