ORANGE HAS GONE MISSING I was really thrilled when I saw the chocolate orange combo–a favorite flavor of mine. And that it was a Stash product. I love their chocolate mint oolong–in that one there’s plenty of chocolate & mint flavors. I drink that every day as a mild “pick me up” after lunch, since there’s a bit of caffeine in oolong tea. Sadly, the chocolate orange doesn’t compare. There is no detectable orange flavor, even when I make it with two tea bags! Two tea bags are necessary with this…
Subtle, light. A perfect tea for Summer or a rainy storm. I actually got a tester bag from a friend a couple of years ago for Christmas and love this subtle blend of orange and chocolate. It’s not strongly flavored, think a light green tea in terms, but it’s just right for something in the afternoon for a treat, or during a rainstorm. Be careful not to over-sweeten, or you’ll kill the flavor (as my mom discovered).
I certainly have a lot of them Stash is an excellent brand. This is borderline flavorless. Not very orange, not all that chocolate, steep it as long as you want. It won’t get any stronger. I got a citrus-y ‘repetition’ a half-hour. Way weak.I like the bulk pack, but not for this selection. If they were better, I’d feel differently.
