Great Coffee Alternative I have bad reflux and have been on PPI’s for years. It’s to the point that I can’t take even a sip of anything acidic, yet it was difficult for me to give up morning coffee. Awesome substitute for coffee! I stopped drinking coffee 2 years ago because I only liked to drink it with a ton of cream and sugar. I had a “light bulb moment” one day, and realized all the damage I was doing to my body by consuming all that sugar, so I tried drinking my coffee black. DISGUSTING!! I then went cold turkey. Strong Carob Taste Many of my friends love this, which is lucky for me because I foolishly ordered the 6 pack. The price was so much better buying 6 and I was sure I’d love anything chocolate (I always have). The 3 star rating is because of the friends who like it–for me it would have been a 1 because I really don’t enjoy the taste of carob and that’s what I smell and taste in this drink.
