Tie Guan Yin tea is one of the famous and most sought after tea in China. Our Tie Guan Yin has a very sweet taste quite flowery with hints of honey and with a delicate finishing. The sweet pleasant after-taste will stay with you even after your cup is empty. A true top tea for a price where u can enjoy it daily.

During production our Tie Guan Yin is carefully hand-rolled into the typical small leaf balls. The balls look a bit like balls made of iron. This is where it gets its name from. Our Tie Guan Yin Comes from Fujian in the Anxi county in China.the surroundings of Fujian are the birthplace of this particular tea. The legend says a poor tea farmer named Mr. Wei got the first leaves from Goddess Tie-Guan-Yin for his dedication to an old temple of her.

Use about 3g of tea for 250 ml and brew on 100 degrees for 1.5-2 minutes. You can use this high-quality tea up to 7 times, giving a new experience on each setting. Slightly increase the rinsing time for each subsequent brew. Of course, as always you should adjust for your own preference. We would recommend a porcelain(Chinese) teapot like a Gaiwan(like in the picture) otherwise, a glass teapot would do as well.
