Ceylon tea comes from the country that today is known as Sri Lanka. Twinings Ceylon tea is made using the finest quality high grown teas from the Dimbula region in western Sri Lanka. In the 1870’s, Ceylon became a major tea producing area after the coffee crop failed. Its tea is still referred to as “Ceylon” despite the country changing its name to Sri Lanka in 1972 following independence. Ceylon is ideal to drink at any time of day and is great for ice tea too. Drink black, with a little milk and sweeten to taste.

Used to be good, now terrible. Bought these a while ago, no problem. Bought again recently, the packaging is different (lighter color) and the tea is.. well it somewhat colors the water but has pretty much no taste. It kinda looks like either Twinings changed their manufacturing for terrible tea mix, or these are counterfeit.

Great product, great price, will buy again Great quality. Surprised by other reviews that say tea is of bad quality. Perhaps the purple packaging and yellow packaging (which I received) are actually different earl grey products. Tea steeps well, also good for cold brewing in room temp or cold water. Great quality especially for the price…

I thought finally, they had made this variety available in America so I don’t have to have my son stock pile it for me. Wrong. What I ordered is not what I got. The tan colored Earl Grey would get 3 stars (it’s…
