perfect for late afternoon or early evening tea if caffeine … So many of the reviews are for some other flavor of Twinings tea… of which I buy many, mostly here on Amazon. But I wanted to make certain it was clear *this* particular review is for the Prince Wales flavor. Great product, great price, will buy again Great quality. Surprised by other reviews that say tea is of bad quality. Perhaps the purple packaging and yellow packaging (which I received) are actually different earl grey products. Tea steeps well, also good for cold brewing in room temp or cold water. Each bag sealed in foil bags (see pics). Bag tears easily, convenient. Some grinds remain after tea is steeped, but that also happens with other tea brands like Numi and Lupicia, as I’ve discovered. Great quality especially for the price…
My favorite tea! I wouldn’t classify myself as a tea snob, but I do really enjoy a variety of tea, and I’m picky when it comes to black tea. I want something strong, with a lot of body that will stand up to milk. Twinings is absolutely my go-to. I’ve tried loose leaf English Breakfast tea from Teavana and other specialty tea stores, and have always been disappointed. Their flavor is more plant-like, and less smokey, and overall weaker than Twinings.This tea also doesn’t get bitter when I steep it…
