My favorite chai I’ve been a chai afficionado for a while, and even more so since my trip to Nepal 2 years ago. There I was able to taste chai both in restaurants and in homes, and I have to say that Yogi’s chai is the best and most authentic one I’ve ever tried.I steep it directly in milk every morning, it’s a very comforting way to start the day.For a non caffeinated version, check out the Redbush chai.
The Perfect Chai I’m really picky about the chai tea I drink, and Yogi is the perfect cup of tea. I was very pleased to find it here in bulk – Trader Joe’s seems to have ceased selling it. Apparently it was “too spicy” (this is what I found out from a friend’s husband who works at one of the TJ’s warehouses). To me, it’s a perfect blend of heady spices, and it’s not too overwhelming.
Best Tea by far The Yogi’s Black Chai is the best and closest in taste to the one brewed back home. It has the right amount of tea and spice flavour.. My biggest concern is that it is out of stock everywhere!
