First, you can save a lot of time and effort by narrowing your search to English and Irish brands. They simply have a much better taste for tea on the Isles, no question about it. Americans produce fancy packaging and fancier tea bags, but the English/Irish simply produce much better tea. I still haven’t tried ALL brands available, but I have lived with number of them…
Amazing tea If you like tea then you have to give this a try. I use to drink tea all the time and I never drank coffee. I use to drink Lipton tea but they started to make their tea so weak in the late 80s that their tea tasted more like water than tea. I then tried Twining tea and I really liked this tea but it was also pretty expensive. Yorkshire tea I personally found to be better than Twining tea and less expensive. As I said if you are a tea lover then you should give this a try.
The Best of British Black Tea Yorkshire Gold tea is the best British tea (in my humble opinion) I discovered it when traveling in the U.K. and it is the only brand we drink at our house. This is a robust tea and comes in generous sized tea bags, that will give you a generous size cup and a refill as well. (The company also makes Yorkshire Red, which is quite nice, but the Gold is definitely a stand out tea.) We drink Yorkshire Gold every day at our house. I would encourage any tea lover to give it a try.
