Let me save you some money… As someone who has spent more money on teas than I have needed to…If you are looking for White Hair Silver Needle, that is, legit Baihao Yinzhen, anything that is true Baihao Yinzhen is going to more or less inherently be what we would refer to as “organic” or “kosher” even if it doesn’t have a certification (which increases the price). Silver Needle tea Not for everybody. This is a rather hard to find tea in your local store, but here on Amazon there’s quite a few sellers. The tin is rather small – but it is perfect for those that just want to give it a try before investing into a bigger container. Wonderful medicinal properties Many find white teas a tad bland . . .however, I’m willing to tolerate bland for white tea’s medicinal properties. Studies show white teas can prevent cancers, aid in weight loss and has three times the antioxidants of green tea.Silver Needle White Tea has been harvested while the leaves are still in bud form rather than a more mature plant other white teas come from.I like to mix this tea fifty fifty with an oolong or black tea for more flavor.
