Hug Your Mug! I adore this mug! A friend brought me one from Portland (where they’re made) as a gift a few years ago and when I sadly broke it last year (my fault, not the mug’s!) I immediately went in search of a new one and was very happy to find them on Amazon. The color and design on both of my mugs has been beautiful and the colors don’t fade at all even after a few years of use. Great for the colder months I purchased the left-handed mug, but use it frequently in my right as well. It definitely works, you just don’t get as much warmth from the mug. Unique~ This is a unique design and concept, but not really practical in reality. I’m not sure why I thought it would be more insulated when the liquid was hot; it’s obviously ceramic. As a result it’s too hot to put your fingers in the “warmer” at first, making it a little awkward to hold. HOWEVER, it’s an interesting design, and I think more peole purchase it for the novelty and beauty of it rather than for the hand warming properties.
