This one is not for me I am providing this review as part of a market research program. The one I received is green. This doesn’t work as well as what I am accustomed to for making tea. The absence of holes on the top of the infuser trap air preventing the water from filling fully to soak the tea leaves. You have to tilt it on its side and dunk it under to let the air out so it soaks well. The description states “microwavable without the strainer” and I have no idea what use or benefit that…
OK, actually used it and changed to 5 stars.The bottom section is the perfect measure scoop for the loose tea to make a perfect cup.I like my tea strong, so I left it in for a full 5 min, til the color was dark enough. (Organic English Breakfast) I did need to swish it for a bit after 3 min to get the full strength I wanted for a 20 oz mug. Yes, 20 oz. Mea Culpa! It depends on the shape.
