Better for cold then hot The design is fantastic and much better then most travel tea mugs. There are fewer parts to break composer to my old cup. My issue is that I generally brew 8-10 ounces of hot tea and this is made for a larger volume. Thus, I have to tilt if back more then I’d like and risk spilling hot tea on myself. If you drink cold brew, you’ll love this mug. For hot, it takes some time to get used to.
Bought mine, and went back and bought one for my mom and daughter It’s still 90 degrees outside, so have only been using this as a cold brew so far. Haven’t checked out all of the tea on the Tea spot, but bought more through a company I have used before for coffee and tea. With the cold brew, you can add ice and more water, and still get about 4-5 refills while using the same leaves. I don’t think the 16 oz that I originally was thinking about would have been enough for me. This 22oz. seems to be perfect. I stopped drinking pop (diet coke), and needed…
Over all love this thing the cup itself is pretty sturdy (and I got the lime green one so it is pretty bright too). The tea infuser basket is a bit delicate so be careful with it. The holes in it are very tiny so almost nothing escapes but very fine dust.
