Excellent teapot made even better with filter and homemade holder! I LOVE this teapot! I’ve had it for years. It’s huge and makes at least 8-10 cups of tea at once. What I don’t love is that the filter that Amazon and a few other buyers recommend highly for it doesn’t fit snug!!! For two years I’ve been frustrated with my filter falling into the pot completely. No more! My husband made a filter holder from the top of a yogurt cup! Ladies – when a man is fed up with shoddy design things get done! BOOM! Problem fixed! Now the teapot, filter and makeshift holder…

It Ain’t Heavy, It’s my tea pot.. Big, Microwave Safe, pours evenly and it’s got this little loop that has a few different uses: holds the tea bag tag out of the tea, helps guide the tea pot spout into smaller cups and looks cool.. I guess you could put a flower in it if you’d like, not deadly nightshade.. but maybe something edible.. it’s heavy because it’s big and when it full of tea it’s best to hold it handle and bottom.

Five Years and Counting This is a nice teapot. Even though it does feel a little delicate, it does what it is supposed to and is easy to wash due to the large opening. I have not been especially careful with this teapot during the five years I have had it, and it is still completely intact. No chips, cracks, or crazing/crackling. I have used it a few times in the microwave, and it did fine. Mostly, though, I warm it with hot water from the tap before pouring it out and putting tea (either loose leaf or bagged) into it…
