Excellent kettle I was looking for a tea kettle that was affordable and red for my red kitchen, and when I came across this one I thought it was perfect. I liked the look of the stainless steel against the red. When it came and I opened the box I was amazed at how chic the kettle looked, I was very happy that I chose the stainless steel/red combo instead of a different completely red kettle. Utilitarian and fine The kettle is fine. Not beautiful or special. I was pretty surprised at the prices of kettles, and didn’t want to spring for a pricey kettle. This one is small but fine for a few cups of tea. Color is okay but pretty mundane looking. So, if it’s just a utilitarian kettle you want, or don’t want a pricier choice, this is a good choice.
Charming compact tea kettle This is a charming compact tea kettle with sweet proportions. At 2 quarts it’s perfect for one or two people. It complements my apartment and looks great on my 4-burner stove top. I’m planning to get another one for my camper. Mine doesn’t whistle either, but based on the other reviews I didn’t expect it to. The lid fits tight so no issues with it falling off while pouring. The silicone handle gets warm while heating, but not so hot that I need a potholder. All in all, quite precious.
