Very small but work – gaskets can be a pain These are very small, when they say mini they mean mini. The description is correct 2.25 x 2.25 inches – description also says for storing cookies, they will be very small cookies and only like 3-4 of them.
Size that I needed but seal was less than perfect I needed these small canisters for some spices that I have to replace the ~0.8 oz plastic spice containers I bought from the store. I wanted a better sealed container to prevent moisture from getting into my spices, however it was below my expectations in regard to how well they sealed. The plastic seal kept moving and falling into the container when I closed the canister and it seemed like they never fully sealed. I’m still using them, but I wouldn’t purchase them again.
Bittersweet but workable The volume of these canisters is about a 1 1/2 golf balls. I purchased the stainless steel version to store small amounts of pipe tobacco. They will store about an ounce of tobacco, packed (half ounce unpacked). The finish looks good and they serve their purpose, but I must take issue with a few things.
