ITO EN Sencha shot is brewed from premium Japanese loose tea leaves and uses an advanced, deeper brewing method that yields both a high content of natural “catechin” tea antioxidants and a more full-bodied green tea taste. Made from nothing but purified water, green tea, and vitamin C it has approximately 40 mg of caffeine per can. It is an all-natural, unsweetened tea with no calories, no genetically modified ingredients, and no added flavors or colors. It contains 152 mg of tea antioxidants per 6.4 fl oz can–five times more than the average ready-to-drink green tea. Moreover, it is a good source of the much needed vitamin C. Something Nice Ito En Sencha Shot is a very decent product and a nice departure from the current run of energy drinks. Following the wildfire success of Red Bull, company after company has come up with energy drinks involving high concentrations of caffeine and taurine. Caffeine has known long-term effects on health, while taurine has barely been studied.
Good Energy This is just how tea is taken in Japan, but put into a steel can. A touch of astringecny (a preferred taste for Japanese green tea) is a small price to pay for all of the naturally occurring antioxidants to be had from this unsisified, fiesty little drink.
Sencha Shot a Sure Shot Great alternative to the popular caffeinated drinks. No crash and burn after drinking this green tea drink. It’s a nice pick-me-up.The only problem is with the packaging. Some of the cans were dented.
