The Solstice Tea Traders loose leaf green tea sampler is an amazing way to try a selection loose leaf green teas ranging from exotic, to widely available. Each sampler includes…

Dragon Well 3rd Grade (Longjing Tea)- A luxury green tea, among the most famous, sought after and expensive green teas from China.

Gunpowder Green Tea- Smoky full bodied green tea. Higher caffeine content, and a much bolder taste than other green teas.

Sencha China Green Tea- China grown and imported Japanese style full leaf green tea. Sencha is a name for a beverage when finished, as opposed to the tea leaf name. Sencha refers to the leaves infused in hot water (what we now assume to be a standard method).

. Yunnan Green Mau Feng- Large leaf unbroken tea, noticeably larger leaves that are never broken, rolled, or otherwise processed. The flavor is bold and nutty if brewed strong or crisp and refreshingly light if brewed weaker.

Whole Leaf Pan Fired- Green tea leaves that are pan-fired in a wok to stop any further oxidizing. Allowing for preservation of flavor and color.

China Green Tea Fannings- Fannings are left over particles after much costlier and sought after full leaf teas are processed. However, in recent years, fannings have became extremely popular for their cups per scoop ratio, allowing for less tea to go much further.

Great Quality Tea Set If you love green tea, this is the sampler pack for you! I have always loved to drink tea and my husband and I usually go a little crazy when we step foot into a Teavana store. How do you go in for one tea and come out having spent over $70?! It happens every time. I have been seeking more affordable options for high quality tea, and I first tried out the pomegranate green tea and sencha tea from this Solstice brand. I was so happy with these that I wanted to try more. When I saw this sampler…

Six distinct green tea varieties I love sampling different flavors of teas, so it was a no-brainer for me to test this set of six different types of green tea. Each sample is packaged in a reusable tin that keeps the tea leaves fresh. There is a card in the box that gives some history and information about each type of tea in the set.

Great sampler set of green teas! I grew up in India where drinking tea was a daily ritual. Needless to say I am a huge tea enthusiast. I prefer loose tea over tea bags because it helps me manage the strength of the tea. I usually brew a whole pot that I sip on for a few hours during the day. (By the way if you do not own a good tea infuser I recommend the investment. It greatly enhances the Tea drinking experience). I am always experimenting with new blends of tea because it can taste different based on the manufacturer’s…
