A superb, delicious Darjeeling This is a delicious second flush Darjeeling, just as I had hoped for when I ordered it. It has full, round body without being bitter or having too much of a tannin taste. It is organic, too, and it comes directly from India without a lot of middlemen in between, so there’s hope that the profits go directly to the producer. Pure, delicious tea. I’m very picky when it comes to tea and I must say, this one is spectacular. It tastes completely pure – no additives or coloring. It has a bitter finish, so I would imagine that you have to enjoy that particular taste in order to really enjoy it, but I love it. I brew it in a teapot for 5 minutes minimum. It also tastes great hot with honey. Additionally, I stick the leftover tea in the fridge and drink it iced. Wonderful treat for the summer.
Lacks flavor notes that make Darjeeling desireable I was so disappointed in this tea that I immediately sent it back. It has a flat flavor: none of the rich notes Darjeeling should possess. It is a good price for so much organic tea, but not worth a penny due to the lack of flavor.
