Chai Masala Teabag I mention “Teabag” because I don’t want customer to make the same mistake I did and blame Vahdam simply because we don’t understand the difference. I expected the same level of Chai Masala my favorite Indian resturant and a good friend mother provides. I realize now It’s impossible to perfect that taste in a dipping teabag. Very pleased I– my family– am a tea snob. The tea equivalent if champagne taste with a beer pocketbook. I do occasionally splurge on good tea but so often have to settle for less. No more. This is tea of the greatest caliber. You can see and smell the difference before you ever taste the product.And that it, if one can believe the marketing, is much more direct-from-the-merchant than other brands is the icing on the cake.I cannot say enough good about this product.
Look elsewhere. This isn’t worth it. I will never forget the wonderful ginger tea that my Indian friend made for me years ago: 50/50 water and milk, loose black tea, grated ginger, black pepper, and sugar. It was amazing, flavorful, and rich. It has ever formed the basis for my concept of chai.
