Exactly the flavor and quality of Assam that I was looking for at an incredible price. This is the flavor I’ve been looking for in Assam tea. I became addicted to what they call “Royal Milk Tea” when I lived in Japan- it’s strong assam tea with creamer and sugar added, very nice for afternoon teal time. Strong black Assam tea It is a great value and strong malty Assam. It is a little lacking in fragrance and the package is not sealable, but the combination of the price for 2 lbs and the taste of real Assam is unbeatable! I usually buy my black tea from English tea store. This tea might not be as fragrant and complex, but the price is fantastic. This tea is in granules, not leaves.
